Finish What You Start: Practice the Art of Follow Through
A collaborative skills building group for youth
Does your child often start strong and motivated, but loses steam? …getting bored, procrastinating, or leaving projects half-finished? This group is designed to help them turn those unfinished tasks into moments of success and confidence!
Through a playful blend of behavioral strategies and expressive art therapy, participants will:
• Explore what makes finishing hard (and how to overcome it)
• Experience the satisfaction of completing something meaningful
• Build motivation and resilience to follow through, even when challenges arise
By the end, your child will walk away with a renewed sense of accomplishment—and practical tools to tackle procrastination habits head-on.
✨ Special Activity: Please have your child bring an “unfinished” piece of art (drawing, painting, craft, etc.) to the group. This piece may be shared, handled, or even collaboratively contributed to by other group members as part of the creative process.
No need to bring supplies, we will have a wide variety of high-quality art materials provided!
This workshop is facilitated by board certified art therapist, Jaclyn Lenz, LPC/S, ATR-BC
