Glimmer HeART Studio is a process-forward creative arts space where curiosity, self-expression, and the experience of making are just as important as the art you take home.
Curated by board-certified art therapists, our studio offerings are thoughtfully designed creative experiences with exciting materials and plenty of freedom to experiment, play, and make something uniquely your own.

Most of our programming at Glimmer HeART Studio is created with kids in mind, with select experiences designed especially for teens and grown-ups, too.
Because creativity doesn’t have an age limit.
We all need space to make, play, and wonder.
Why “Glimmer”?
Creativity often begins with a glimmer.
A color catches your eye. A material makes you curious. An idea flickers into your mind. You feel the urge to touch, explore, combine, build, paint, tear, shape—or simply wonder:
What would happen if I tried this?
That little spark is at the heart of Glimmer HeART Studio.
Glimmer is a process-forward creative arts studio. That means we value the experience of making just as much as what gets made.
Rather than beginning with a prescribed finished product, we create experiences that invite exploration, choice, experimentation, problem-solving, creative risk-taking, and following an idea wherever it might lead. Two people can begin with the same materials and end up somewhere completely different—and that’s exactly the point.
There can be guidance. There can be inspiration. There can be new materials and techniques to discover. But there doesn’t have to be one “right” way for the art to turn out.
The process is part of the art.
The name Glimmer also holds a deeper meaning for us at HeARTS for Hope. In trauma-informed and nervous-system conversations, glimmers are often described as a counterpoint to triggers—small moments associated with safety, connection, ease, or possibility.
And creativity can be full of glimmers.
The satisfying feeling of clay in your hands.
Discovering a color you love.
Getting completely absorbed in making.
Laughing when an experiment gets wonderfully messy.
That little spark of I wonder what would happen if…
The feeling of stepping back and thinking, I made that.
For us, Glimmer is both the spark that draws us toward creativity and the little moments of curiosity, connection, joy, and possibility we discover when we follow it.
