Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T) is a unique evidence-based treatment model designed to treat depression, anxiety, addiction, phobias, PTSD and more.

A.R.T is unique in that it can process a traumatic memory in one 60 minute session, tapping into the brain's own healing capacity and creativity.

A.R.T uses rapid eye movements to process a traumatic memory, which desensitizes any associated unpleasant emotions and physical sensations. After distressing emotions and physical sensations are processed out, any undesireable negative imagey from the traumatic memory are replaced with positive ones. The rapid eye movements along with the brain's creative centers facilitate the creation of a new memory which ensures that future triggers, intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, etc., no longer occur. You will always factually know what happened, but you will no longer have the disturbing memory.

With A.R.T., specific protocols are followed to address different problems.

All problems are addressed rapidly and without having to share uncomfortable details or ‘re-live’ any memories.

Symptoms of traumatic distress are relieved quickly! Unlike hypnosis, you are aware and fully present throughout the process.

Unlike EMDR, symptoms are desensitized in just one session, rather than several sessions of processing.

Here is what a former HeARTS for Hope client shared about her experience with A.R.T:

“It opened a portal for healing that the strongest will and knowledge were incapable of accessing… allowing a depth of healing I had been unable to access or resolve my entire life. I tried everything and A.R.T was the technique that changed my life”.
