In a world that can be overwhelming, self-expression through art can be a safe harbor. A place to be authentic to YOU.
This unique and creative art therapy workshop is designed specifically for teens to support Self-worth, Self-creation, and Self-confidence in a supportive group setting.
In this 3 hour workshop, you’ll use creative expression to explore, identify, amplify, and create meaning around your unique Self and Self-worth.

Learn the art of Mala Making! Set a personally meaningful intention, choose the crystal beads that align with your desired energy, and create your very own Mala necklace as you tie on each bead, with step-by step instruction on how to tie the knots.
This three-hour workshop on Sunday April 7th is open to anyone brand new to Mala Making or those with previous experience. Everyone is welcome!

Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training
This 10-hour experiential training class will teach you tools and techniques of Trauma-Informed Yoga, and how to apply these skills to support individuals and/or groups with population-specific needs within your scope of practice. This training is led by Courtney Chandler, ATR-BC, LPC, E-RYT500 at Zen Rabbit Yoga in Traveler’s Rest. Registered Yoga Teachers will receive 10 CE’s approved through Yoga Alliance.

Beauty in the Broken: Kintsugi Workshop
Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics using gold that serves as a metaphor to highlight the beauty that exists within imperfections.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the art of kintsugi and have an opportunity to transform the imperfect — what appears broken and damaged — to a beautiful work of art, and have opportunity for self-reflection through guided meditation and journaling prompts to accompany your creative process.

The Magical Manifestations: 2024 Vision Board Workshop, facilitated by art therapist Courtney Chandler, integrates meditation with journaling prompts to help focus and support your MAGICAL MANIFESTATIONS to be captured in your vision board. Bend & Bloom: Trauma-Conscious Embodied Healing (Women’s Group for Grief Support)
Trauma and grief can leave you feeling significantly disconnected from your body and its ability to tune into sensations. This women's group integrates trauma-informed yoga, somatic therapy, and art therapy to support and heal the mind, body, and spirit from the impacts of trauma and grief. Through honoring our bodies and expressing our thoughts through more than words, we grant our minds and hearts the safe space needed to heal.
This group runs for 6 sessions spanning 7-weeks held Sundays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm EST, August 13th - September 24th, 2023 (skipping August 10th).
